The AT&LU has gone a step further to ensure that the employees’ personal information is respected and protected by employers. We have now revised confidentiality clauses in our collective bargaining agreement to address the protection of employee’s personal information to include but not limited to: personal details about the employee’s family, medical record, legal matters, finances etc.
Employers want protection of their information, equally employees want protection of their personal information.
